The Southern King, Dhanush , who has multiple films in his kitty, has constantly proved his mettle by doing multi tasks. He is an actor, screenwriter, lyricist, singer, and director and has succeeded in also the mentioned fields. While he is shooting for ‘Maari 2’, a sequel to his 2015 film, updates on his next directorial venture are also doing the rounds. As per the latest update, Dhanush has plans to cast Telugu superstar Nagarjuna in his next directorial venture. If all goes well, this will be quite a lethal actor-director combo to look out for. What’s more interesting is, Dhanush might also play a pivotal role in this film. The movie is touted to be a period drama. As per earlier reports, Dhanush had first approached Chiranjeevi but as he couldn’t allot bulk dates, he stepped out. This movie will be bankrolled by Sri Thenandal Films.
The actor who last appeared in ‘VIP 2’ which also had Bollywood actress Kajol , has back to back movies lined up to release in 2018. His first film is ‘Enai Noki Paayum Thota’ by GauthamMenon, and then he will appear in Vetrimaaran’s ‘Vada Chennai’, while his ‘Maari 2’ is already on the floors, he also an international project Ken Scott, titled, ‘The Extraordinary Journey Of a Fakir’.
Any collaboration between him and Nagarjuna will be a treat to all the movie lovers.
