We saw Jayam Ravi in Shakti Soundar Rajan’s ‘Miruthan’, which was first Tamil language film in the zombie genre. The actor-director duo is coming up again with ‘Tik Tik Tik’, which is touted to be first Indian Tamil-language sci-fi space thriller film. The film also stars Aaron Aziz, Nivetha Pethuraj, and Ramesh Thilak among others in the lead roles. The teaser of the film was launched a few months back, and today Jayam tweeted a new poster of the film that read, “Here’s the much-awaited news!!! Happy to announce #TikTikTikTrailerFromNov24 Enjoy this out of the world experience!! Can’t wait for you all to see it. Proud of this one #FirstIndianSpaceFilm @ShaktiRajan @JabaksMovies @immancomposer @NPethuraj”.
Talking about the film to a leading daily, the director earlier said, “We have explored the space genre in a commercial set up. It’s very challenging to engage the audience when the story shifts to space as there are not too many elements to play with. Our film has no romance and even the songs have been shot as montages but we have elements we think will appeal to everybody.”
