Baaghi 2 Performance Review:
To some extent, Baaghi 2 might seem to be an exercise in style over substance, but it is damn good if you watch this as an action entertainer and control your urge to find faults and too many logics in it. You will love the film for what Tiger Does in it. He is violent. He is intense. And he impresses thoroughly with a standout performance. As promised, the young star does take the action to another level and ensures that Baaghi 2 finds its rightful place in the list of best action films made in Bollywood. Talking about Disha Patani , who comes to grace the screen after MS Dhoni: The Untold Story , the actress plays her part with earnest sincerity. Her chemistry with Tiger is terrific. They look good together and you want more to see them in a frame. The director has translated their off-screen chemistry well onscreen. Seasoned actor Manoj Bajpayee , who plays DIG in the movie, is good and pulls off his character convincingly. Despite playing short roles actors such as Prateik Babbar and Randeep Hooda leave their mark. Prateik seems to have worked really hard on his character and his hard-work is visible in every scene he is a part of. Actor Deepak Dobriyal also does a good job in his role.
Baaghi 2 Direction Review:
Baaghi 2 is a sequel to the 2016 film Baaghi , which starred Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles. The first film in the series was helmed by Sabbir Khan , while the sequel has been directed by choreographer-turned-actor Ahmed Khan . Making a sequel in a way that it turns out to be a step ahead than its prequel, is not an easy job, especially when it isn’t being directed by the director who helmed the previous part. However, director Ahmed Khan tries his best. He puts his heart and soul into the film and ensures that if not ahead, Baaghi 2 at least stands close to its predecessor. Had the story of the film been a little stronger and screenplay a tad tauter, Khan would have done a far better job as a director. Having said that, the director has visualized his picture really well.
Baaghi 2 Technical Aspect Review:
The production value of Baaghi 2 is great. The film has been shot on a lavish scale which you can see in every frame on the celluloid. The cinematography is good and background score terrific. Editing is also very crisp, especially in the second half. Overall, Baaghi 2 scores well in all technical departments.
Baaghi 2 Music Review:
Apart from action, the music of Baaghi 2 is another highlight of the movie. Though not every song is placed perfectly in the narrative, some of them turn out to be good as standalone songs. The much-publicised recreated track “Ek Do Teen” is, by all means, an average number. Another remixed song “Mundiyaan” is quite energetic. Disha and Tiger’s presence makes this number even more beautiful. “Oo Saathi” and “Safar” are average at best.
Baaghi 2 Final Verdict:
You can watch Baaghi 2 if you loved its prequel Baaghi and are a big sucker for action entertainers. Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani 's crackling chemistry is another highlight of the film which might entice you to watch the action flick.
