Industry experts initially projected an opening of Rs 60 crore, but recent reports suggest the actual numbers could surpass that estimate. ‘Jawan’ is anticipated to achieve an all-India total of Rs 73 crore nett and a gross of approximately Rs 84.50 crore.

Shah Rukh Khan is rewriting the box office history books this weekend with his second film of the year, ‘Jawan’. Initially, trade analysts expected a Rs 60 crore opening, but emerging reports hint at even higher figures.

As per Sacnilk, the movie is set to achieve an impressive all-India total of Rs 73 crore nett and a gross of about Rs 84.50 crore. ‘Jawan’ is poised to secure the biggest opening for a Hindi film and one of the most substantial openings for a Bollywood movie featuring a Hindi actor in the lead role in South Indian states.

For its Hindi release, ‘Jawan’ is estimated to collect around Rs 65 crore nett and an approximate gross of Rs 77 crore. The Tamil dubbed version is expected to contribute between Rs 4 crore nett and Rs 4.75 crore gross, with similar numbers projected for the Telugu version.

Regionally, it's anticipated that the film will rake in approximately Rs 30 crore from South Indian states and over Rs 56 crore from the central and northern regions.

Internationally, ‘Jawan’ is forecasted to earn over Rs 50 crore on its opening day, resulting in a global collection of around Rs 140 crore, marking a historic milestone as the highest opening for a Bollywood film.

Jawan Gives Tough Competition To Highest Earning Indian Movies

Currently, ‘Jawan’ holds the fourth position on the list of highest-earning Indian movies, trailing only ‘RRR’, ‘Baahubali 2’, and ‘KGF 2’. Fans have been flooding theaters as early as 6 am, fueled by the immense anticipation surrounding the film.

Given the tremendous buzz surrounding ‘Jawan’, it appears likely that the movie could surpass the record set by ‘Pathaan’, which was the highest-grossing film of the year at the box office.
