Today marks Dulquer Salmaan's 11 years as an actor in the film industry. Second Show, a gangster drama that was released in theatres on February 3, 2012, marked the brilliant actor's acting debut. The career of Dulquer Salmaan in the movie business has been nothing short of remarkable. He has consistently shown himself to be one of the most captivating and gifted actors. The actor, who established himself in Malayalam cinema with a number of noteworthy movies, later stretched his prowess into the Tamil and Telugu sectors before moving on to Bollywood.
DQ REVEALS the second look poster from ‘King Of Kotha’
Dulquer Salmaan used the opportunity to release the second look from his upcoming movie, King of Kotha, as well as some thoughtful comments on his 11-year career in cinema. He took his official Instagram handle and shared the second look from King of Kotha, he wrote in the caption, “11 years since my first film released. Ironically titled Second Show. Now in my second decade in cinema I seek to grow more as an actor and tell even greater stories. I have received so much love and encouragement that I strive constantly to never let you down. A big thank you to the critics and even haters cause you make me introspect and push me to take bigger chances and tread unfamiliar paths. “
Further talking about his upcoming projects and his next film King of Kotha he wrote, “I treat this year as every year. I wish to entertain all of you with the best cinematic experiences I possibly can be a part of. I’m in love with the world of movies more than ever. So here’s another peak into the world of Kotha. King Of Kotha
Dulquer Salmaan will appear in King Of Kotha, which is billed as a mafia drama, in a previously unseen avatar. Abhilash Joshiy, the veteran filmmaker Joshiy's son, is the director of the eagerly anticipated production. The female lead in the movie, which is slated for a pan-Indian release, is Aishwarya Lekshmi.
DQ’s future projects
Dulquer Salmaan is anticipated to begin filming his forthcoming untitled Tamil movie which will be helmed by Karthikeyan Velappan. For the unfamiliar, Raj and DK's new Netflix series Guns and Gulaabs, which stars Dulquer Salmaan, will mark the actor's digital debut.
