25 years of South superstar Suriya in the film industry; actor pens a heartfelt note, says ‘Dream and Believe’
One of the most well-known actors in Tamil cinema is Suriya. Fans have been captivated by the mass hero's stirring performances in movies like Singam and Soorarai Pottru, to mention a couple. Suriya is one of the few actors who has made sure that his fans see each and every one of his films, which is remarkable. The actor consistently moves audiences, whether he's portraying a lawyer battling for justice in Jai Bhim or an amnesiac lover boy in Ghajini. He is regarded as one of India's top actors, not just in Kollywood or the South. He made his acting debut in 1997 with Nerukku Ner and has since appeared in 50 movies.
Suriya marks 25 years in the film industry
Suriya took to Twitter to share a heartfelt message for his fans as he completed 25 years in the film industry today. He wrote, "Truly a beautiful and blessed 25years..! Dream and believe..!Your Suriya." Suriya has had a successful career spanning two decades and has a large international fan base thanks to his numerous memorable and box office successes.
Awards and Recognitions
Suriya won several honours, including three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, four Filmfare Awards South, two National Film Awards, and more. Suriya is the only actor from the South who has received an invitation to the Oscars committee. He has been invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences together with 397 other artists and executives.
His upcoming line of flicks
Bala's untitled film Suriya41 will feature Suriya. After 20 years, the actor and director finally worked together on a film. After that, he collaborates with director Vetrimaaran on the movie Jallikattu. The Soorarai Pottru Hindi version is also being produced by Suriya. Akshay Kumar plays the lead in the remake.
