The Bahubali (2016) filmmaker stated at the event that he is scared of the day when theatres would become outdated, but that he will do all it takes to keep people coming to the movies. He has stated that his films are large-scale action films with a strong emotional component. He went on to say that no one knows what would pique the audience's interest. He stated, “I go towards what drives my emotions. So all my movies are different.”
Sukumar, the director of Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa (2021), advised the children that they would learn on the job. “Just jump in and learn on the job,” he said.
Mani Ratnam, the acclaimed director, said in an interview that he crafts films that aren't preachy. Rajamouli, he added, is his greatest inspiration. “When I saw that a movie can be made in two parts and be successful, I started work on my current film,” he said.
