Kochu's death was mourned by Kerala's chief minister, Pinarayi Vajayan.
KOCHU PERMAN’S ACTING CAREER
He became a well-known face in the industry thanks to his comedic timing in films. As a well-known theatre performer, he made his acting debut before breaking into the motion picture business in 1979 with the release of his movie Ezhu Nirangi. Over the next two decades of his career, he went on to appear in more than 200 movies.
His participation in a theatre production of Jagathy NK Acharya's play marked one of the significant turning points in his acting career. In the following years, Kochu continued to act in a number of well-known movies, such as Sreekrishnapurathe Nakshathrathilakkam, Mattupetty Machan, Irattakkuttikalude Achan, Pattabhishekam, Guru, Thenkasippattanam, Kalyanaraman, and Thilakkam. He appeared in the films Trivandrum Lodge, Ordinary, Ozhimuri, Action Hero Biju, Carbon, and The Priest in recent years.His performances were always renowned for the delivery of dialogue in his distinctive manner.
