Om Raut, who directed 'Adipurush', has taken a lot of heat for his new masterpiece, which stars Prabhas. But despite the backlash, Raut seems to be putting his hopes on Nitesh Tiwari's planned adaptation of the Ramayana. Tiwari's project has been in the news lately because it is said that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will play Lord Ram and Devi Sita, respectively.

Even though 'Adipurush' got mixed reviews and caused controversy because the story and dialogue were changed. In a recent interview Om Raut says that he doesn't have anything against Nitesh for making a movie about the same theme. In fact, he tells the director that he admires him and sends him his best wishes. Om Raut praised Nitesh Tiwari's work, calling 'Dangal' one of the best films ever made in India.
Raut is excited about Tiwari's Ramayana version and says that, as a follower of Lord Ram, he is looking forward to it. He says that the great story should be told over and over again because it is important to the country's history and culture. Raut thinks that everyone should support and enjoy any effort to bring the Ramayana to the big screen, no matter who is making the movie.

Even though it has been criticised, the Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan movie 'Adipurush' is still in theatres and doing well at the box office since it came out on June 16.
