After Pushpa, Sukumar to join forces with Chiranjeevi?
Chiranjeevi, who has a number of big-budget projects in the pipeline, is set to collaborate with Sukumar, a creative and talented filmmaker who is currently basking in the glory of his recently released directorial venture Pushpa: The Rise (2021). However, there is a twist: Sukumar and Chiranjeevi will not collaborate on a film. Instead, they are collaborating for a commercial ad.
Sukumar confirmed that his next project with Chiranjeevi will be an advertisement rather than a film. The director recently took to Instagram to share a photo of himself presenting a bouquet to the megastar. He also wrote, “Dream come true. Wielding a megaphone for Megastar. Details very soon.”
Sukumar has directed several successful projects in the Telugu film industry over the last 18 years. Prior to entering the film industry, he worked as a mathematics and physics lecturer at a junior college in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.
He began his film career as a writer and assistant to VV Vinayak in Tollywood. His previous film, Pushpa: The Rise, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, is about the illegal trade of sandalwood from the forest that borders the states of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
Megastar Chiranjeevi is awaiting the release of Acharya along with his son Ram Charan. He also has Godfather and Bhola Shankar in the pipeline.
