Malayalam films have always stood out when it comes to their unique stories and the way they put them up on the screen. Once again a tale of love is set to flourish on the screens but this time it’s between a student and a teacher. South beauty, Malavika Mohanan, and Mathew Thomas are set to play the lead characters in the romantic drama. On Friday, the Malayalam film's trailer was released. The movie's trailer was unveiled by actors Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Tovino Thomas, and Katrina Kaif.
A glimpse into what appears to be a forbidden love affair is shown in the trailer. Mathew's Roy, who portrays a high school student, develops feelings for Christy, who is a tutor played by Malavika. Director Alvin Henry appears to have given this youthful love story a great romantic makeover. Roy is overcome with emotion when he watches Christy enter the compound gate.
Roy's declaration of love for Christy is depicted in the trailer. Furthermore, Christy's feelings toward Roy appear to be conflicted. And since they appear to love one another's company, it is safe to predict that their affection for one another will become the primary topic of talk in the town. True love or mere infatuation? It appears to be the central issue that steers the story.
Alvin Henry, a newcomer, is the film's director. Renowned writers Benjamin and GR Indugopan are responsible for writing Alvin's story. Under the auspices of Rocky Mountain Cinemas, the movie is made by Sajay Sebastian and Kannan Satheesan. Christy is set to release in theatres on February 17.
