SS Rajamouli's next project is keenly anticipated by cinema fans following the success of RRR. The project, provisionally titled SSMB29, will have the lead played by Mahesh Babu, the Telugu superstar. Deepika Padukone, our Bollywood beauty, is reportedly being considered by the filmmakers to play the lead role in this untitled drama, which will further heighten the anticipation for the film. The company hasn't spoken with the actress yet, though. If the speculations are accurate, this will be the first time Mahesh Babu and Deepika Padukone will appear together on film.

SSMB29, a jungle-based adventurous drama, will begin production within the first part of next year, as was previously announced. Additionally, in an interview, renowned writer KV Vijayendra Prasad disclosed that the project will be based on a true story. When asked more about it, he said, "Yes, you may write it. It is an adventure story that will start next year.”
Deepika’s upcoming projects
Deepika is gearing up for the release of her action thriller Pathaan which will be released on the silver screens on January 25, 2023. The flick will see Shah Rukh Khan as the protagonist and John Abraham as the antagonist. She will also start opposite Hrithik Roshan for the first time in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter. The actress also has Project K starring Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan.
