Devara Vs NBK 109: Jr. NTR To CLASH With Nandamuri Balakrishna At Box Office?

With ‘NBK109’ and ‘Devara’, respectively, Nandamuri Balakrishna and his nephew Jr. NTR may have duelling feature releases next year.

Jr. NTR and his uncle Nandamuri Balakrishna do not have the intimate uncle-nephew relationship that is common in most households. While they were originally close, their relationship has deteriorated over time, with the actors rarely seen together outside of significant family gatherings.

According to rumours, Nandamuri Balakrishna and Jr. NTR's projects might clash next year, with both aiming for March 29th and April 5th release dates, potentially affecting profits for one or both films.

Its Jr NTR’s ‘Devara’ vs Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘NBK 109’:

With the revelation today that production on ‘NBK 109’, starring Balakrishna, has begun, speculation is increasing that the film's release date will be March 29th.

KS Ravindra, also known as Bobby, is directing ‘NBK 109’. He previously collaborated with Pawan Kalyan on Sardar Gabbar Singh and most recently directed Chiranjeevi in ‘Waltair Veerayya’.

The ‘NBK109’ crew issued a poster announcing the start of the filming, which included an axe, Lord Hanuman's amulet, and a reflection of Lord Narasimha on the sunglass.

Regardless of the plots, if these two big-name blockbusters wind up having competing release dates, it will be interesting to watch which one succeeds and which one fails at the box office.

Nandamuri Balakrishnan and Jr. NTR On their Workfront:

Nandamuri Balakrishna was most recently seen in Anil Ravipudi's film ‘Bhagavanth Kesari.’ The film, which starred Sreeleela, Kajal Aggarwal, and Arjun Rampal (in his Telugu debut), received favourable reviews and grossed a lot of money at the box office.

Jr NTR was most recently seen in SS Rajamouli's flick ‘RRR’. The actor is now filming ‘Devara’, a film he co-wrote with Koratala Siva that will be released in two parts. The film stars Saif Ali Khan as the major antagonist, with Janhvi Kapoor making her Telugu debut as the female lead.

In addition, Jr. NTR is expected to make his Hindi debut in the Ayan Mukherji-directed ‘War 2’ starring Hrithik Roshan.
