Dhanush’s upcoming two films might land on OTT
Dhanush’s upcoming film Maaran might get an OTT release while his Hollywood debut The Gray Man is anyway developed as a streaming project.

Dhanush is currently busy shooting his newly launched film, Vaathi. The film will be released as Vaathi in Tamil and as Sir in Telugu. Dhanush is working alongside Samyuktha Menon in this film which is being directed by Venky Atluri.
The National Film Award-winning actor recently finished shooting his two upcoming movies Maaran and The Gray Man. The first film is directed by Karthick Naren. Alongside Dhanush the film will feature Malavika Mohanan, Samuthirakani, Smruthi Venkat and more on the cast.
Maaran is produced by Satya Jyoti Films, and GV Prakash Kumar has composed the music for the film. According to reports, the movie might skip a theatrical release due to an increase in COVID numbers. In other reports, the makers of the film are reportedly in contact with an OTT platform regarding the rights of release. However, no official announcement is made yet, but it is expected soon.
The Gray Man is set to release on an OTT platform this year in June. Fans of Dhanush are waiting to see him on the big screen as his recent movies, Karnan (2021), Jagame Thandhiram (2021) and Atrangi Re (2021) were all released on the OTT platform due to COVID-19 outbreak.
