The Athiran actor is currently busy promoting his upcoming film Malayankunju.
Fahadh recently discussed the specifics of his other endeavors, including Pushpa: The Rise's sequel, in an interview. According to Fahadh, this movie was originally intended to be a single film by filmmaker Sukumar. He said, “When I was first offered this film, there was no Pushpa 1 and 2. That scene led to an interval break and then came my promotion in the movie.”
Sukumar decided to alter the plan and divide the movie into two because he believed that Pushpa Raj's story was too extensive for one film. Sukumar had intended this project as a series before turning it into a movie, which was one of the causes. “Sukumar sir (earlier) wanted to make a series for Netflix on red sandalwood. Recently when I spoke with him, he said we have scope for Pushspa 3 also. We have so much material,” said the 39-year-old actor.
Meanwhile, Fahadh Faasil has too many projects in his line up which include Mammannan featuring Keerthy Suresh, Paattu with Nayanthara, Paachuvum Albuthavilakkum, Mahesh Narayan’s Sherlock, and many more. The actor also starred in the box-office record-breaking film Vikram which starred Vijay Sethupathi and Kamal Haasan. His latest film Malayankunju will be released in theatres on July 22.
