Mohanlal to collaborate with director Arjun Sarja

At the recent teaser launch for Dhruva Sarja's Martin, Arjun Sarja stated that he would like to collaborate with Mohanlal. The actor reportedly claimed that he and Mohanlal have already spoken about the idea. He also said that the movie won't start soon, but he gave the assurance that it will happen. With Mohanlal, Arjun Sarja confirmed his upcoming project as a filmmaker. Previously, Arjun Sarja was a cast member of Mohanlal's Malayalam historical drama Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham. In the national Indian film, the actor portrayed a warrior by the name of Anandan.

In Nelson Dilipkumar's Jailer, starring Rajinikanth, Mohanlal has a significant part. For a new movie titled Ram, for which production is presently underway, the actor once again collaborated with Drishyam director Jeethu Joseph. The female lead in Ram is Trisha Krishnan. He also has Malaikottai Valiban, the upcoming action film directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, which recently finished its first Jaisalmer schedule. Barroz which is currently in the post-production phase and is scheduled for release this summer is where Mohanlal will make his directorial debut. For the much-awaited sequel to the duo's blockbuster outing, Lucifer, which was released in 2019, Mohanlal will soon return with actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran.
