The National Award-winning actor Fahadh Faasil is very active in his acting career and has a number of exciting projects in development. Even though we enjoy watching him on the big screens, the actor also works as a producer under his own label, Fahadh Faasil, and Friends, in the meantime. The actor is currently preparing to release his latest film Thankam, which he created in collaboration with the illustrious production company Bhavana Studios. The forthcoming film Thankam, which the actor has produced, has finally unveiled its trailer.
Check out the trailer of Thankam!
An unreliable young man, played by Vineeth Sreenivasan, a middle-aged man named Muthu, and a few other main characters are the focus of the crime drama's incredibly exciting teaser. According to the trailer, Thankam is a meticulously written crime story that follows the path of "Thankam," a.k.a. Gold. It is implied in the trailer that this is the tale of a Maharashtra police unit looking into a Mallu crime in Tamil Nadu. While actor-filmmaker Vineeth Sreenivasan's role appears to be richly detailed and performance-focused, Biju Menon, who plays Muthu, is seen in yet another rooted character with shades of humour.
Fahadh and Joju George were originally cast in the film
Fahadh Faasil and Joju George were intended to be the main characters in Thankam for the unfamiliar. The pandemic and lockdowns, however, caused several delays in the project. Due to their demanding shooting schedules, Fahadh and Biju were ultimately required to leave the movie. Later, Fahadh Faasil and Joju George were replaced in the movie by Vineeth Sreenivasan and Biju Menon, respectively.
When is Thankam releasing?
The Malayalam thriller crime drama is set to hit the screens on January 26th.
