What harm can a few extra months do if Alphonse Puthren can make his devoted followers wait seven years for his subsequent film to Premam? After the director was unable to finish the film's post-production, his most recent project, Gold, which was scheduled for an Onam 2022 release in September, was delayed. It appears that he is aiming to make a film that in every way outperforms Premam, his last offering. And in order to produce a better product, Alphonse took his time to complete Gold's post-production. He even took the chance of upsetting both his and Malayalam actor Prithviraj's fans. And finally, he appears prepared to release his movie in theatres and let it go.
Actor Baburaj recently shared a post on his Instagram expressing his enthusiasm for the movie. He disclosed that the wait is ended, and the movie will be released in theatres in December. According to rumours in the business, Alphonse intends to release the film on December 2. A formal announcement is still pending, though.
Nayanthara is the female lead in the movie Gold. Prithviraj not only stars in the major role but also finances the film. The supporting cast of the movie also includes Ajmal Ameer, Krishna Sankar, Shabareesh Varma, Chemban, Vinod Jose, Vinay Forrt, and Roshan Mathew.
