Prithviraj Sukumaran is gearing up for the release of Gold, his most ambitious film to date, which is helmed by acclaimed Neram (2013) filmmaker Alphonse Puthren. The film is scheduled to open in theatres on the Onam holiday.
Recent reports state that a prominent OTT platform paid a record fee for the OTT rights to the movie, and that the film would soon begin streaming in a variety of languages. The producers have not officially approved this report yet.
Contrarily, it was claimed on the last day that Gold will not have a trailer release before the movie's premiere. Alphonse Puthrem himself confirmed the report via his official Facebook page. Alphonse Puthren also mentioned that an official song may be released before the movie is shown on screens, and the audience is anticipating it to sound similar to the song Pistah from his earlier film Neram (2013).
The makers of Gold previously released an intriguing teaser that significantly raised anticipation for the Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer. The Kaduva (2022) actor featured in a recently released poster that also appeared fascinating and unique.
The film Gold, directed by Alphonse Puthren, has a stellar cast that includes Nayanthara and actor Prithviraj Sukumaran. Other actors including Chemban Vinod Jose, Roshan Mathew, Shanthi Krishna, Deepthi Sati, Lalu Alex, Krishna Sankar, and Mallika Sukumaran will also have significant roles in the film.
