The film 'HanuMan' cost Rs. 72 crores to produce. Despite the teaser showing off beautiful Effects, the movie was made on a relatively small budget. Hanuman, a Hindu god, inspired the imaginary village of Anjanadri, where the superhero movie is situated. 'HanuMan' was originally planned to have an Rs. 12 crore budget. The cost of the movie has escalated, though, due to the VFX and other difficulties since filming got underway.

Om Raut authored the script while India was under COVID-19 lockdown. As soon as Prabhas saw the project, he liked it, and T-Series Films agreed to produce it. At a budget of 600 crores, 'Adipurush' is one of the most costly Indian movies ever produced.
