When Karthi made his unusual debut with 'Paruthiveeran' (2007), he was 30 years old. It ultimately turned into the biggest hit of the year. Both critics and fans were baffled by Karthi's portrayal, which lacked any indication of the inexperienced actor's fear.

True, his main selling point is his versatility. Karthi possesses the unique ability to play both the part of a suave pilot and a gangster, and the audience would not find it hard to relate to either character. There are probably many Tamil actors and actresses who are on par with or perhaps better than Karthi, but none compare to him. His ability to effortlessly transition between each part while still performing them with ease astounds the audience. We hope to see him in more roles as fantastic as these in the future.
