Here’s when Prabhas starrer Salaar will hit cinemas

His recent release Radhe Shyam (2022) may not have set the cash registers jingling at the box-office, but there is no lack of excitement among audiences about Prabhas’ upcoming films. The Baahubali star has several high-profile pan-India films in the pipeline, one of them being Salaar.
Announced in 2020, Salaar has been creating a lot of noise for the past one and a half years. The film marks Prabhas’ maiden collaboration with Kannada filmmaker Prashanth Neel, who shot to overnight fame after the riotous success of his 2018 film KGF: Chapter 1.
The upcoming pan-Indian film stars Shruti Haasan alongside Prabhas. Prashanth Neel is directing the film under the banner of Hombale Films. A major portion of Salaar has already been shot and if reports are to be believed, the makers are set to resume filming in May. The team is looking at wrapping up the shoot by 2022-end.
Talking to a leading entertainment publication, Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films revealed that they are planning to release Salaar in the second half of 2023. “It will be a 2023 release. We intend to release it between the window of April to June,” he told the publication.
