HUGE! SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ wins awards in 4 categories at Hollywood Critics Association; director says ‘Jai Hind’ in his speech

Only if we could get the time to process all the proud moments and happiness that RRR has been bringing to our nation with its massive victory at the international level. Right after its huge win at the Golden Globes 2023, the film has been receiving back-to-back nominations. The film’s song ‘Naatu Naatu’ is nominated for Best Original Song at the Oscars 2023 and it is a major achievement in itself for the country to be nominated. And now, RRR has now won four categories at the Hollywood Critics Association Awards. The RRR director and Ram Charan took the stage to accept each award, from Best Action Film to Best Song.

Rajamouli says ‘Jai Hind’ in his speech at the Hollywood Critics Association

At the recently held Hollywood Critics Association, RRR took home four awards. The Ram Charan and Jr. NTR-starring movie won Best Action Film and Best Foreign Feature. The Biggie also took the awards for Bets Stunts and Best Music (Naatu Naatu). “It is for all of us to believe we can make international films. Thank you to HCA for that, it means a lot. Thank you very much again. Jai Hind.”

Rajamouli dedicates his award to India

After receiving the award for the Best Stunts, Rajamoulli, said, ‘Mera Bharat Mahaan.’ A big thank you to all the members of the Hollywood Critics Association (HCA) who thought RRR had the best stunts. Thanks, alot. I must first thank my choreographer who has put in lots of effort to execute all the stunts. Juji [stunt master] helped them with some of the climax action sequences. And, to all the other choreographers who worked really hard and came to India and understood our vision. They changed their working style to suit our working style and delivered what we had today.”

RRR’s roar worldwide

Many Indian filmmakers have been motivated to improve their filmmaking skills by SS Rajamouli's confidence in his work and the manner he presented his movie on a worldwide scale. Mani Ratnam, a recent admirer of Rajamouli, recently acknowledged the profound influence that Rajamouli's films, Baahubali 1 and 2, had on him. RRR is now promoting the movie for the Oscars in the US. The movie is up for an Oscar Award in the Best Song category for its song Naatu Naatu. Rahul Sipligunj provides the vocals for the hit song, which was composed by MM Keeravani.
