Tollywood superstar Allu Arjun is presently busy promoting his much-anticipated pan-India film Pushpa: The Rise, which is scheduled to hit theaters on December 17. Originally made in Telugu, the film will release its dubbed versions in several popular Indian languages, including Hindi.
Allu Arjun, who interacted with the media in Mumbai during a special event on Thursday, said that he has received several offers to star in Hindi films but he is waiting for the right opportunity as making his debut in Hindi cinema will be a milestone in his career.
“I love Hindi cinema. I have grown up watching it. I definitely want to do a straight Hindi film. It will be a landmark point in my career and I want to make the best possible choice for it. There have been a few offers but nothing really interesting or exciting has come up,” he said.
The actor added that starring in a Hindi film has been on his mind for quite some time and he has been in conversation with a few filmmakers for something big. “We have been in talks about if we can do something, and how to do it, if we want to do something big. Because people who come to me, they say they have come with something solid. Once everything falls into place, I'll try to plan and come up with something big,” he added.
Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa: The Rise also features Rashmika Mandanna and Fahad Faasil in lead roles. The film releases on December 17, 2021.
