Indian 2 to resume production once Kamal Haasan completes Vikram and RC15
Indian 2 will resume production soon and the schedule will last at least a hundred days.

Kamal Haasan is currently shooting for his upcoming film Vikram, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, and has even taken a break from hosting Bigg Boss Ultimate to complete the shoot as soon as possible. According to the latest reports, the star actor is eager to resume shooting for director Shankar's Indian 2 also.
However, with the shooting of Vikram expected to wrap up only in March, and director Shankar taking a couple of months longer to complete the shooting of RC15 starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, it appears that the shooting for Indian 2 will be pushed back to May or June 2022. According to reports, Indian 2 will resume production in a couple of months and the schedule will last at least a hundred days.
Indian 2 is a sequel to the super hit movie Indian (1996) and the film also features Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Kajal Aggarwal, and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the other lead roles.
However, with Kajal Aggarwal currently pregnant, it seems that the director is looking for a replacement. He will also be looking for a replacement actor for the late Vivekh. Aishwarya Rajesh plays an important role in the film, as does veteran actor Delhi Ganesh.
Lyca Productions is producing the film.
