Director Atlee, who is now revelling in the success of his last film, ‘Jawan’, featuring Shah Rukh Khan in the main role, was caught on camera expressing in an interview that he would like to create a film starring both Shah Rukh Khan and Thalapathy Vijay.
In an interview with Gobinath, an Indian anchor on YouTube, the ‘Jawan’ director revealed that he is really considering bringing in both stars for a single picture and that he is still trying to figure out a suitable subject for them.

According to Atlee, both major performers are eager to work together on a project, and both have said to him that they feel he is capable of pulling off such a production, putting their trust in him.
Though many thought that Thalapathy Vijay would appear in the film, the rumours were debunked by Atlee himself a few days before ‘Jawan's’ release. He stated that he could have invited Vijay to appear in the film but did not want a cooperation with SRK to be limited to a cameo.
Atlee's most recent film, ‘Jawan’, which also marked his directorial debut in Hindi, was a huge hit, landing Shah Rukh Khan his second blockbuster in 2023. The film, in which the actor played both father and son, was highly appreciated by the public, who relished watching the star churn out mass masala commercial entertainment.
For the uninitiated, Atlee has previously collaborated with Thalapathy Vijay on three distinct movies, ‘Their’, ‘Mersal’, and ‘Bigil’, all of which were huge successes in the actor and director's career.
Thalapathy Vijay was most recently seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj's film ‘Leo’, which is presently in theatres. The adaptation of David Cronenberg's film History of Violence, which also included the actor in the cast of LCU characters, was his second collaboration with the filmmaker.
Thalapathy Vijay will next be seen in the Venkat Prabhu film ‘Thalapathy 68’, which also stars Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, Mic Mohan, Sneha, Laila, and many other actors.

Shah Rukh Khan, on the other hand, will appear in his next film, ‘Dunki’, directed by Rajkumar Hirani. The film, which will be released in theatres in December, is the actor and director's debut collaboration. Following that, there are rumours that SRK may join his daughter Suhana Khan in a Sujoy Ghosh film, although this has yet to be verified.
