Is Nargis Fakhri set to make her Tollywood debut in a Pawan Kalyan starrer project?
Actors from Bollywood are increasingly expressing an interest in working in Telugu films. Tollywood producers and actors have always been kind and cordial to Hindi film actors. With B-Town actors like Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Ananya Panday, Deepika Padukone marking their debut in Tollywood, it is now rumoured that Nargis Fakhri will also be seen making her Telugu debut alongside Pawan Kalyan in a project titled Hari Hara Veera Mallu.
The film is described as a period action-adventure movie in which she will be seen playing Roshanara. National Award-winning director, Krish Jagarlamudi, is helming the film, which has a budget of Rs 150 crores and is co-financed by A.Dayakar Rao and A.M. Ratnam.
Nargis, who previously made her south film debut in an item song in a Tamil film, is now said to be playing a full-length role in this Pawan Kalyan starrer film. It's also been rumoured that there were previous attempts to introduce her in an item song in Allu Arjun's Pushpa The Rise (2021). However, for a more authentic feel, the producers went with Samantha.
Bollywood actors Nidhhi Agerwal and Arjun Rampal will also play crucial roles in the film. Gnana Shekar V.S is in duty of cinematography, while K.L.Praveen is in charge of editing, and M.M.Keeravani is in charge of music.
The Main Tera Hero (2014) actress had her most recent theatrical release, Amavas, in 2019. She was last seen in the Netflix movie Torbaaz in 2020.
