‘RRR’, Ram Charan's most recent film, dominated the world box office. The movie made a significant contribution to putting Indian cinema on the map internationally. It has been confirmed that Ram Charan will play the lead in the significant biography that is purportedly in the works, even as the actor continues to film for his upcoming film, ‘Game Changer.’

Ram Charan's earlier this year showed interest in playing a sports movie, which fuelled rumours that he might play Virat Kohli in the official biopic. At the time, there was no confirmation in the news. However, the actor's representative has now formally addressed the rumour.
According to Ram Charan's publicist, he does not currently have any intentions to appear in the Virat Kohli biopic. The spokesman went on to say that the actor is completely focused on finishing ‘Game Changer’, which is currently in its last phase of production.
Ram Charan had responded to a query on the types of parts he is hoping to accept during a media event held in March by saying that he would be interested in playing a sports movie. He expressed interest in making a movie about any sport.

"It's long overdue, maybe a sports-centric film," said Ram Charan. When the actor was further asked a pointed question about possibly starring in cricketer Virat Kohli's biopic, Ram Charan promptly replied, "If given a chance, it will be fantastic."
