Fans were in total disbelief when South superstars Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu announced their split on October 2, ending their four-years-long marriage. Their separation has been one of the most-talked-about topics in 2021 and it continues to attract a great amount of attention to date.

If reports are to be believed, Chaitanya was hurt by the choice of roles that Samantha had taken up in her recent projects. Her critically-acclaimed film Super Deluxe (2019) featured her in a very bold role, and the same can be said about her character in Amazon Prime Video’s successful streaming show The Family Man 2 (2021) as well.
Additionally, her sizzling dance number in Allu Arjun’s latest film Pushpa: The Rise (2021) has become the talk of the town thanks to its risqué lyrics. As per reports, the lyrics of the song did not go down well with some people who went on to register a police complaint against the same.
Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya is presently shooting for his next Thank You. He will also be seen in Aamir Khan’s much-anticipated film Laal Singh Chaddha. The Advait Chandan directorial marks his debut in Bollywood.
Samantha, on the other hand, has Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal, Shaakuntalam and Yashoda on her platter.
