According to reports, Jacqueline Fernandez has stepped out of the Nagarjuna Akkineni-starrer The Ghost. The actress is currently in news due to her involvement with conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar. And now, the actress has bowed out of a big project like The Ghost.
A source said, “Jacqueline is no longer a part of the film. While we don't know the exact reason, there have been talks that her exit could be after she landed up in trouble in an extortion case. "
Nagarjuna Akkineni is currently working with director Praveen Sattaru on The Ghost. The film is being produced by Narayan Das K Narang, Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, and Sharrath Marar under the banners of Sree Venkateshwara Cinemas LLP and Northstar Entertainment Banners.
Initially, the makers of The Ghost bought Kajal Aggarwal on board for the film. After shooting a few scenes, she walked out of the project due to her pregnancy. Later, the makers approached Amala Paul, who also walked out for undisclosed reasons. Then Jacqueline Fernandez was going to be the female lead in the film. But now she has also walked out of the film.
The makers of the film are still uncertain and in search of someone to cast for the female lead role.
