Rajinikanth, who previously collaborated with filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj on the 2019 film 'Petta', has offered a touching message for the whole cast and crew of ‘Jigarthanda DoubleX’. Karthik Subbaraj directed the film, which stars Raghava Lawrence and SJ Suryah in prominent roles, and it is presently playing in theatres.
Director Karthik Subbaraj retweeted the note written by the superstar himself on his official X (previously Twitter) profile. The remark explains how Rajnikanth truly enjoyed and was amazed by the film.
Rajinikanth first tweeted about the film, saying, “Amazing work by Karthik Subbaraj, a different story and plot. The new kind of scenes in this film are something that cinema fans haven’t seen before.”
The celebrity also praised the two leads, Raghava Lawrence and SJ Suryah, for their efforts. He admired Lawrence and wondered whether he could always act like this. Furthermore, he stated, “Be it a villain, comedy or character role, SJ Suryah would always perform it greatly. He’s a combination of all three aspects.”
Superstar also commended music composer Santhosh Narayanan, saying, “Santhosh Narayanan is the king of composing different music for different films. Bringing the film to life with his music, he proves that he is truly a master music composer in this film.”
He also joined to the praise for the elephant in the picture, performing as if in competition with the actors. He ended the note by saying, “I am proud of you Karthik Subbaraj. My hearty congratulations to Karthik Subbaraj and the Team.”
Rajinikanth is now working on a film directed by TJ Gnanavel, tentatively titled ‘Thalaivar 170.’ The film, which is reported to be about a retired Muslim officer, boasts an ensemble cast that includes Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, and others.

Furthermore, Rajinikanth will appear in Lokesh Kanagaraj's film, tentatively titled ‘Thalaivar 171’. The film is presently in pre-production, with Mammootty, Raghava Lawrence, and Prithviraj Sukumaran on the cast list.
