Jigarthanda Double X Teaser OUT: Raghava Lawrence And S J Suryah Join Hands With Karthik Subbaraj (Watch Video)

The teaser for Karthik Subbaraj's ‘Jigarthanda Double X’ was released today, August 11. Some of the biggest figures in the various film industries released the teaser in multiple languages. Dhanush debuted the Tamil teaser, while Mahesh Babu debuted the Telugu teaser. Dulquer Salmaan and Rakshit Shetty, on the other hand, have released teasers for the film in Malayalam and Kannada.

Since its debut, the teaser has gotten positive feedback from fans. Even before the teaser, the casting has served to generate considerable interest in the picture. Santhosh Narayanan's score has been well praised since the first trailer was published. Fans are also looking forward to seeing S J Suryah and, in especially, Raghava Lawrence in the Karthik Subbaraj universe.

Stonebench Films has funded ‘Jigarthanda Double X.’ The film's post-production work is currently in full gear. ‘Jigarthanda Double X,’ as revealed in the teaser, will be released in theatres this Diwali. The film was shot in several places in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

‘Jigarthanda Double X’ is a stand-alone sequel to ‘Jigarthanda,’ the director's 2014 film. Siddharth, Bobby Simha, Lakshmi Menon, Karunakaran, and Guru Somasundaram were among the ensemble cast members in the original. ‘Jigarthanda’ was so popular that it generated sequels in a variety of Indian languages. The film was remade in Kannada under the same title, and in Telugu and Hindi under the titles ‘Gaddalakonda Ganesh’ and ‘Bachchhan Paandey,’ respectively.

Karthik Subbaraj, who most recently directed Vikram in Mahaan, opened up about his creatively satisfying experience with ‘Jigarthanda Double X.’ "The film is a creatively satisfying experience for all of us," he stated. ‘Jigarthanda Double X’ was shot in some of the most unusual places. I am confident that we will provide the audience with an exciting experience. "I sincerely thank my actors, technicians, and everyone else who helped with this massive project."

‘Jigarthanda Double X,’ like its predecessor ‘Jigarthanda,’ is an action gangster film. Tirru was in charge of the film's cinematography. He previously collaborated with Karthik Subbaraj on films such as ‘Mercury’ and ‘Petta.’
