Following online trolls and jabs from the actors' fans, Naatu Naatu singer Kaala Bhairava has expressed regret for failing to name RRR stars Ram Charan and Jr. NTR in a thank-you post he earlier shared on Twitter.

“I have no doubt Tarak anna (Jr NTR) and Charan anna (Ram Charan) are the reason for the success of naatu naatu and RRR itself. I was ONLY talking about who all helped me get my opportunity for the academy stage performance. Nothing else. I can see that it was conveyed wrongly and for that, I sincerely apologise for my choice of words,” Bhairava, who performed the Naatu Naatu song on the Oscars stage earlier this week, tweeted.
The singer posted two tweets on March 16 thanking people for giving him the chance to perform at this year's Oscars.
He thanked Prem Rakshith, the choreographer for the live performance at the 95th Academy Awards, director S.S. Rajamouli, and others in the letter. However, Ram Charan and Jr. NTR's followers on the microblogging platform were not pleased with Bhairava for skipping over them in his thank-you tweet.
Fans quickly responded to his tweet, pointing out how he had forgotten to name the movie's two leading actors. “So basically NTR and Charan didn’t add any value according to you?,” one of them wrote.
Fans, however, were grateful for his apology post. “No need to justify! you were great on the stage and i enjoyed your moves at the end! may you always have success and support like this forever,” In response to his tweet, one of his followers wished him continued prosperity and encouragement.
The composition Naatu Naatu, which won the Oscar, was performed by Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj. It was written by Chadrabose and composed by M.M. Keeravani.
