Kalabhavan Haneef began his career as a mimicry artist with Kalabhavan's imitation company. He quickly made his cinematic debut and has since been a fan favourite, appearing in over 150 films. Tini Tom, an actor, expressed his sympathy on social media.

About Kalabhavan Haneef:
Haneef is from Mattancherry, Kochi. He began mimicry and performing arts at an early age and was a renowned member of the Cochin Kalabhavan, where he received his name prefix.
He made his acting debut in the 1991 film ‘Mimics Parade’, which also starred Siddique, Innocent, Jagadish, Ashokan, and others. Haneef rose to notoriety as the groom in Dileep's comedy-drama film ‘Ee Parakkum Thalika’ in 2001. He has also appeared in films like ‘Pandippada’, ‘Chotta Mumbai’, ‘Ustad Hotel’, ‘Drishyam’, and even 2018.
His wife, Waheeda, and two children, Sharooqu and Sithara, survive him. The funeral is expected to take place on Thursday, November 10th.
