Kamal Hassan opens up about his friendship with Rajnikanth

Kamal Hassan is a personality that needs no introduction. The actor is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Vikram. During a conversation, the actor spoke about his equation with Rajnikanth and he shared that politics and friendship are different and that he was a close friend of fellow superstar.
The president of Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) further said, that they have a close personal rapport even though they had professional competition at times. He also revealed that he was friends with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, and his son and DMK MLA Udayanidhi Stalin.
Kamal shared that Rajinikanth was not able to come to the trailer launch but had called him up to wish him and to explain his non-availability for the programme.
Produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, Vikram is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film stars Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil with Kalidas Jayaram, Narain, Antony Varghese and Arjun Das in supporting roles.
