She captioned it as, "Started filming for Chandramukhi today." In the story, she added the picture of Lord Ganesha and wrote an 'Om Shree Ganeshay Namah,' and added the caption.

P Vasu helms the film Chandramukhi 2. It is the sequel of the blockbuster hit Tamil Terror comedy film 'Chandramukhi' which Rajnikanth and Jyothika led. In 'Chandramukhi 2', Kangana Ranaut will portray the character of a dancer in the king's court who was known for her beauty and dance skills. She stars alongside Tamil actor Raghava Lawrence in the lead role. The official date of the film is still awaited.
