The box office success of Kantara, a masterpiece, doesn't seem to be slowing down. Since its premiere last month, Rishab Shetty's most recent movie, Kantara, has been causing uproar in theatres all throughout the nation. Everyone is buzzing about the movie, which has broken numerous box office records and received nothing but rave reviews. In the midst of all of this, the well-known Keralan band Thaikkudam Bridge has accused the creators of Kantara of plagiarism. Kantara's creators were charged with plagiarising. The band from Kerala will file a lawsuit over the infringement of their music.

Kerala band to file a lawsuit against Hombale Films

According to reports, the group claimed that Kantara's Varaha Roopam was a plagiarism of its own song Navarasam. As they argue against the newest blockbuster from Hombale Films, Kantara, Thaikkudam Bridge is set to make a statement over copyright violations. The filmmakers have not yet responded to the accusations in a public way, but Thaikkudam Bridge has indicated that conversations with the producers are ongoing in the background. The band has also rejected the claim that the two songs are similar because "Navarasam" and "Varaha Roopam" use similar ragas.

The movie has made approximately Rs. 62 crores in the first six days of the fourth week, and the total is predicted to be between Rs. 70 and 72 crores, barely a decline from the week before despite the presence of several new releases.
