Karthi 27: The Film’s Official Announcement To Be Released On ‘THIS’ Date!
Karthi is one of Tamil cinema's busiest performers, and he keeps himself busy by doing back-to-back films. The most recent news is that Karthi has begun filming for his project with director Premkumar.
Karthi has teamed up with filmmaker Premkumar of '96' fame for his 27th film, which has been provisionally named 'Karthi 27'.

‘Karthi 27’ team conducts Muharat Puja:
The film's muhurat puja took place yesterday (November 8) in Chennai, and it's an auspicious start for the Karthi starrer. Following a formal shot on Muhurat Puja Day, the film's main schedule is set to begin next week. The creators have yet to post images from the muhurat puja because they want to offer fans a special gift on Diwali, and 'Karthi 27' information will officially be released on that day.
Aravind Swami co-stars with Karthi in the Premkumar-directed film, while the film's female protagonist remains unknown. The music will be composed by Govind Vasandha, and the cinematography will be handled by PC Sreeram.

Karthi's 25th film, 'Japan,' is set to enter theatres tomorrow (Nov. 10) for the Diwali weekend, with the attractive actor playing a gold smuggler in the heist thriller helmed by Raju Murugan. Karthi's 26th film is yet to be given an official title, and the actor has teamed up with 'Soodhu Kavvum' director Nallan Kumarasamy for the project. The film 'Karthi 26' is now in production, with Krithi Shetty portraying the female protagonist.
