The highly anticipated premiere of ‘Leo’, starring Thalapathy Vijay, is only days away, as filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj, well renowned for his work on Vikram, raises the stakes. The filmmaker is directly reaching out to the public due to the hype surrounding the film's idea and wide appeal.
During a recent YouTube interview with television presenter Gobinath, filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj asked the audience to come to the film with an open mind. He went on to say, "I know the hype for the movie is really big, and even the technicians who worked in the film are hyping it up very much because they all are also very excited for the film to come out, not to boast or increase the hype about the movie."

The director also added, “The film is very entertaining. Come watch the film with a clean mindset and without a doubt you’ll leave satisfied after it.” The director also reiterated the fact that all audience should definitely watch the first 10 minutes of the movie because around 3000 people including VFX artists have extensively worked on it and it will deliver a new experience for the audience from our industry.
With only two days till the film's release, the buzz and expectation for ‘Leo’ are clearly on the increase. The narrative of the film is believed to be a perfectly typical template action picture, but director Lokesh has often said that the film is from his own literary standpoint and has employed numerous creative tactics to make it distinctive.
‘Leo,’ starring Thalapathy Vijay, is director Lokesh Kanagaraj's second collaboration after ‘Master’ in 2021. The film, described as a gangster action-drama, will be released on October 19th. In addition, the film stars Trisha Krishnan, who reunites with Thalapathy after a long absence. As adversaries, the film features Sanjay Dutt on his Tamil debut and Action King Arjun Sarja. What's more, the film is reported to be entirely different from Thalapathy Vijay's past films, with no entrance song, intro fight, or punch phrases, and as such, fans would have a fresh experience watching a Thalapathy movie.

Furthermore, Lokesh Kanagaraj is slated to work with superstar Rajinikanth in his next project, tentatively titled ‘Thalaivar 171’, which has been confirmed to be a standalone film and would not be part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe. The filmmaker is also likely to collaborate with Prabhas on a potential future film.
