Lokesh Kanagaraj, who has reunited with Vijay in 'Leo,' has revealed interesting details about the action drama's secret components. Despite the time restrictions, Kanagaraj had planned to use Leo Das's encounter with a pack of wolves as an introduction sequence to describe his character, but this notion was eventually scrapped.
Kanagaraj, in a chat with a YouTube channel, pointed out the subtle connection between Vijay's reference to the Sathyamangalam Orphanage in 'Leo' and Fahadh Faasil's role in 'Vikram.' He went on to say that careful spectators would detect a change in Vijay's character, Parthiban, following the café fight scene, when he stops responding to his name. This transformation represents the emergence of the Leo Das character within Parthiban.

Kanagaraj revealed a key finding when delving into the story: the flashback segment given by Irudhaiya Raj D'Souza (Mansoor Ali Khan) involving 'Leo' Das is purposefully created, portraying the character's perspective. Scenes proving the dishonesty of this history were cut, guaranteeing that neither Parthiban nor Leo Das had bullet wounds. 'Leo' is a thorough examination of Parthiban's character, with the filmmaker gently introducing the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) as an Easter egg.

Despite these meticulous nuances, 'Leo' maintains its excellent box office performance, having reached the Rs 500 crore mark by the conclusion of its second weekend. The film is Vijay's highest-grossing project, presently ranked fourth among all-time Tamil grossers.
