Liger actor Vijay Deverakonda gets trolled by Mahesh Babu fans; here's why
Currently, Vijay Deverakonda is busy with the nationwide promotion of his much anticipated film, Liger. Vijay sparked a debate during one of the promotional events with his comments against Mahesh Babu, a big name Tollywood. A reporter questioned Vijay about Mahesh Babu during the ceremony. Vijay responded by saying that he likes Mahesh Babu, but he took some time to respond, something MB supporters did not appreciate.
As a result, Mahesh Babu's die-hard fans trolled Vijay Deverakonda on social media. Vijay's followers, however, didn't hesitate to respond to the trolls, which led to a heated exchange between the fan accounts of both stars. According to rumours, the Puri Jagannadh-directed film Jana Gana Mana is what sparked the alleged brawl between Vijay Deverakonda and Mahesh Babu's fans.
Mahesh Babu received the offer of Jana Gana Mana first. However, he declined the part due to a scheduling conflict. Later, Vijay Deverakonda was added to the cast by the film's creators.When a reporter questioned Vijay about Mahesh Babu being the director's top pick at the Jana Gana Mana signing event, Vijay replied, “Mahesh cannot do it. I will do it, show it and then make it hit.” Vijay's remark back then had angered Mahesh Babu's fans.
Meanwhile, Liger, helmed by Puri Jagannadh is slated to release on August 25.
