Makers CONFIRM Sanjay Dutt's role in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s action thriller ‘Thalapathy 67’ alongside Vijay

Recently, Thalapathy 67, Vijay's eagerly awaited 67th film in Tamil cinema, received its official launch. Undoubtedly one of the most eagerly anticipated upcoming films from the South Indian film industry, the high-budget project is directed by the incredibly brilliant director Lokesh Kanagaraj who adds this film to his Lokesh Cinematic Universe. Now, it has been confirmed that Sanjay Dutt will appear in Vijay's forthcoming movie Thalapathy 67, as reported by the makers. The movie's producer, Seven Screen Studio, confirmed the Bollywood star's presence in the Vijay starrer film on Twitter.

A Sanjay Dutt poster was also unveiled along with a message. "When I heard the one-liner of the film Thalapathy 67, I knew in that precise instant I had to be part of the film and I am happy to start this adventure," The Bollywood actor made his Kannada film debut with Yash's KGF: Chapter 2 last year, while Thalapathy 67 is his first Tamil movie.
