Mammootty's Next Movie 'Kaathal-The Core' To Release On THIS Date

Mammootty is without a doubt one of the most versatile performers in the country right now. The actor has been pushing the frontiers of cinema, particularly in recent years, appearing in unconventional and experimental films like 'Puzhu', ‘Rorshach’, ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’, and others.

In the later part of 2022, it was reported that the veteran actor will also appear in Jeo Baby's next production, ‘Kaathal - The Core’. It was also stated that Jyothika would star with Bheeshma Parvam in the flick. In the most recent update, the actor took to social media to reveal that the film would be released in theatres on November 23 this year.

Mammootty announces release date of ‘Kaathal: The Core’:

Jeo Baby, most known for his 2021 film The Great Indian Kitchen, directs the drama film ‘Kaathal - The Core’, his sixth feature film. The film also stars Joji John, Jisshu Sengupta, Muthumani, and many more in addition to Mammootty and Jyothika. Jyothika returns to Malayalam film after a 14-year hiatus.

Adarsh Sukumaran and Paulson Skaria wrote the script, while Rajamanikyam produced the film through his production company, Mammootty Kampany. The soundtrack was written by Mathews Pulickan, while the camera was controlled by Salu K. Thomas. Francies Louis oversaw the film's editing department.

Mammootty and Jyothika’s Work Front:

Mammootty has a slew of projects in the works, beginning with the much-anticipated ‘Yatra 2’, a sequel to the 2019 film of the same name. The actor will also appear in the forthcoming film ‘Bazooka’, directed by newcomer Deeno Dennis. In addition, the actor appears in the horror thriller film ‘Bramayugam’, which also stars Arjun Ashokan, Sidharth Bharathan, and others in major parts, and is directed by Rahul Sadasivan.

Jyothika is also making a comeback in Bollywood, appearing in the forthcoming film ‘Sri’ with Rajkummar Rao, Alaya F, Sharad Kelkar, and others. She is also set to appear in an untitled Vikas Bahl film alongside R Madhavan, Ajay Devgn, and other notable actors.
