Actress Mannara Chopra, who is now in the news following a dispute involving kissing, has at long last responded to it. At a screening for her new movie, ‘Thiragabadara Saami,’ the actress found herself in an unpleasant predicament. The director of the movie, AS Ravi Kumar, gave her a compelled kiss on the cheeks.

On September 1, Mannara Chopra wrote a post on her social media page addressing the uproar. She posted the clip and stated, “Didn’t know that the promotion of my film will take an unexpected turn. Everything I wanted to express is already covered in the video above. I kindly request media outlets to respect my need for space; I’m not ready to share further details at this moment.”

Mannara Chopra was spotted at the Mumbai airport in a recent paparazzi video. She responded when asked about the current topic, “Whatever news is getting viral, I think the director loved my work in the film. They keep calling me even when we are not shooting. I think he just got over excited. I was taken by surprise by the way the video picked up.”

She further added, "My film is releasing. It is a good film and I am so looking forward to its release. Whatever the incident was, he just did out of excitement. There are times when people get excited and don't realise what they are doing. I have always loved the South industry. People have always loved me there. I don't think he had any wrong intentions."

Her subsequent movie, ‘Thiragabadara Saami,’ will debut on September 15.
