Megastar Mammootty starrer action thriller film, Christopher, scheduled its theatrical release; Know More!

Mammootty is an Indian film star who predominantly works in Malayalam films. He also appeared in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and English-language productions. He has acted in over 400 films in his entire acting career. He receives many honours, which include three National Film Awards, seven Kerala State Film Awards, and thirteen Filmfare Awards South. The Government of India awarded him the Padma Shri in 1998, and he was honoured with the Kerala Prabha Award, the second-highest honour given by the Government of Kerala for his contribution to the film industry in 2022. His recent action thriller film, 'Christopher', is set to hit the screen in January.

The film is an action thriller where Mammootty portrays the role of an IPS officer. Mollywood hitmaker B. Unnikrishnan helms the film. The film is anticipated to be released in theatres in January. The film story spins around a real-life crime thriller where, as the film has famous Tollywood actor Vinay Rai playing the rogue.

The most popular south Indian actress Amala Paul plays the most mysterious character in the film, and Sneha is another lead role. 'Ponniyin Selvan 1' star Aishwarya Lakshmi plays little role in the film, but she got a chance to work with megastar Mammootty. Other celebrities contributing to the film are Sarath Kumar, Siddique, Shine Tom Chacko, Dileesh Pothan, Deepak Parambol, Aditi Ravi and Remya Suresh.

The script of the action thriller film is by Udaykrishna, Faiz Siddik helms the cinematography, and Justin Varghese gives the music. The film was shooted in many parts across Kerala, including Ernakulam, Pooyamkutty and Vandiperiyar. Vinay Rai is marking his debut in Malayalam cinema by playing an important role in the film.
