The movie ‘Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty,’ starring Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polishetty, has been postponed. The movie's creators made the announcement on their social media accounts. The news was announced just one week before the movie's scheduled August 4, 2023 release date. They added that the trailer release date and the revised release date would both be made public very soon.

There are allegations that the release of 'Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty' has been delayed because there was little hype around the movie as its intended release date of August 4, 2023 drew near. The producers then announced the news on social media.
Producers penned a note, “As much as we wanted to bring Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty to you on August 4. Due to some delays in the post production work, we had to postpone the release. We’ll be with unlimited fun and entertainment very soon! New release date and theatrical trailer date announcement soonâ€æ(sic)”

Anushka's return to the big screen after a hiatus is marked by the release of the movie's trailer on April 29, 2023. Anushka will portray a cook in the movie. A heartwarming drama was promised in the 1:02-minute trailer.

Mahesh Babu P is the film's director, while UV Creations is the company behind its production. The project also has prominent actors like Jayasudha, Murali Sharma, and many others in significant parts, in addition to Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polishetty.
