Mohanlal starrer Monster gets banned in Gulf countries; Know why!

We last saw Mohanlal in the Jeethu Joseph film 12th Man, who also directed Drishyam. The intriguing storyline of the movie got high accolades from critics. The iconic Malayalam actor Mohanlal is getting ready for the global release of his upcoming movie, Monster. The movie is scheduled to premiere on October 21. But when the news that Monster had been outlawed in the Gulf nations reached the producers, they were taken aback.
Did Gulf countries ban Mohanlal’s Monster?
According to reports, the film's LGBTQ material is the reason it must have been banned. The makers, though, haven't expressed any views on the government's identical decision. According to recent reports, Monster has been outlawed in the Gulf states because it contains LGBTQ-related material. Apparently, the Monster movie's creators have requested a reevaluation from the Censor Board. It has been said that Monster won't be made available in the Gulf this week. If the Censor Board gives Monster the all-clear, it will premiere next week or at a suitable time.

Supporting cast members include Johny Antony, Siddique, Honey Rose, Lena, Lakshmi Manchu, Sudev Nair, and KB Ganesh Kumar. In the Monster trailer, which debuted on October 9, Mohanlal portrays Lucky Singh, a fugitive who is being sought out by the police. The trailer claims that the unidentified assassin in the movie is charged with destroying a different monster.
