After a viral deepfake video was spread, many people in the entertainment industry came out in support of Rashmika Mandanna. The video was first thought to star fellow actor Amitabh Bachchan. In response to the event, many famous people, such as Mrunal Thakur, Naga Chaitanya, and Chinmayi Sripaada, have pushed for the proper use of technology and stressed the need for strict rules to stop people from abusing artificial intelligence (AI) for bad reasons.

In an Instagram post, Mrunal Thakur expressed her shock and condemned the perpetrators. She also asked others not to stay quiet and brought attention to the troubling trend of edited videos and photos going around the internet, especially ones that target female public figures.
Naga Chaitanya also spoke out about his worries, stressing how important it was to take immediate precautions and push for the passing of laws that would protect people who might be victims of such dishonest activities.
Chinmayi Sripaada asked people to be more aware of the risks of deepfakes, saying that these fake videos could be used to abuse and take advantage of people, especially in a society where women's bodies are often seen as objects and used for sexual pleasure.

In response to the support from everyone, Rashmika Mandanna thanked her coworkers and stressed how important it was to set clear rules and take strict steps to deal with and control the use of deepfake technology. In her earlier statement, Rashmika talked about how an event like this could have affected her emotionally if it happened to her in school or college. She also stressed how important it is to take quick and effective action to stop this growing problem.
