Finally, the wedding shenanigans of the most popular couple of south has begun with a bang. Kollywood’s lady superstar Nayanthara and director-producer Vignesh Shivan will be marrying soon.
Earlier, the couple had unveiled their wedding invitation and now the couple visited Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin for inviting him to their wedding. The news has been confirmed with a picture that has been doing rounds on social media.

Vignesh Shivan was seen giving a bouquet to the CM while Nayanthara was posing for the photo holding a bunch of invitation cards. In one of the photos, one can also see MK Stalin’s son actor-producer Udayanidhi Stalin. Professionally, Nayanthara had worked with Udayanidhi in movies like Aadahavan and Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal.
Speaking of the couple, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan will tie the knot in an intimate ceremony on June 9 at a resort in Mahabalipuram. The wedding ceremony will be held as per Hindu tradition followed by a grand reception in Chennai for the film fraternity and other VIPs including politicians.
