Meghana Raj and Chiranjeevi Sarja were both Kannada cinema actresses when they fell in love and married. They dated for ten years before getting married in 2018. Unfortunately, Chiranjeevi Sarja, 39, died on June 7, 2020, as a result of a huge heart attack. When he died, Meghana was five months pregnant, and their son, Raayan Raj Sarja, was born on October 22, 2020.

A year after the birth of her son, Meghana Raj returned to Kannada film. She had stated that her comeback film will be released on Chiranjeevi's birthday in October 2021. ‘Tatsama Tadbhava’ was the title of the film, which was produced by her friend Pannaga Bharana.
